Mixing Curls

Mixing Curls

As lash artists its important to find a way to stand out, and being able to style the eye in a way that compliments your clients unique is an awesome way. Mixing curls is a fun way to mix things up and give your client a truly customized look.

One of our fabulous educators, Kelly Clark, demonstrated in the photo above how to use both C and D curl to create a dynamic, natural look.

We know that using C curl creates a natural look and shape. Using D curl near the center of your set gives the lashes a subtle lift, making the eyes appear bigger.

This method is perfect for clients with naturally close set or down turned eyes who are looking for a natural look. By mixing curls you're able to achieve that natural look but also make the eyes appear bigger by lifting the lashes in the right places.

Understanding eye shapes and eyelash strengths is key in being able to give your clients customized looks that will compliment their natural beauty.
