Each state has different requirement so it is your responsibility to check with the Department Of Professional Licensing in your state and know what is required of you prior to signing up for the course. I have never been certified in eyelash extensions, can I skip the Classic course and take the Volume course?

We require all lash artists taking our Volume course to have already been certified in Classic (not exclusive to Borboleta’s Classic training course) and feel confident in their lashing abilities. We have found our students are most successful in learning the Volume technique when they have already mastered the basic techniques of classic lashing. *You will be required to show proof of your Classic certificate when registering for our Volume course and can upload a picture of your certificate in your account.

Unopened bottles of adhesive are safe to store up to one year.

Because our adhesives are free from harmful preservatives, new bottles of adhesives should be purchased every 4-6 weeks.

What are Flat Lashes?

Flat lashes are eyelash extensions that are flat at the base. They are only available in classic diameters.

What is the difference between pre-treatment and primer?

The Pre-Treatment is a gentle formula made to be applied before the primer to remove any leftover dirt, makeup residue or proteins that the cleanser didn’t catch. The Pre-Treatment is NOT meant to replace the cleanser. First cleanse, then use the Pre-Treatment. The Primer is a stronger formula and is to be used after the Pre-Treatment to strip any excess oil off the lashes. Following these steps insures that you’re giving the adhesive the best chance to get the strongest bond on the natural lash.
