Returns/Exchanges

Borboleta Online Education Courses are nonrefundable but are transferable. If you need to reschedule your course, please contact our education team at education@borboletabeauty.com.

Online Class Cancelation/Rescheduling Policy

Both your education and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected events can occur, forcing schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel or reschedule a class date, we respectfully request at least 2 weeks notice (14 days). Any cancellation or change made with less than 2 weeks notice will result in a change fee of $100. See our full policy here.

How to reschedule: If it is more than 14 days before your scheduled class or appointment: Simply go to your scheduled appointment (in your calendar or confirmation email) and click on "View/Change Appointment" and select another date. If it is less than 14 days before your scheduled class or appointment: Please email support@borboleta.zendesk.com with the subject line “Class Reschedule” and your order number.

Do I need to be a Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician to take the training?

It depends on your state! Each state has different requirements, so it is your responsibility to check with the Department of Professional Licensing in your state and know what is required prior to signing up for the course. *Those living in states where a Cosmetology or Esthetics licence is required to do eyelash extensions will be required to show proof of their license when registering for any course. You can upload a photo of your license in your account.

If I am currently enrolled in Cosmo/Esthetics school can I take the training?

Yes! Proof of enrollment will be required at registration. Please have the Admissions Department of your school email proof of enrollment to education@borboletabeauty.com.

Do I have to purchase a kit with my course?

A kit is included in the cost of your course and has everything you need to complete your course and take models.

How many clients does each kit service?

Classic 10-15 clients
Volume 20-25 clients
Combo 25-30 clients
Mega Volume 25-30 clients

How quickly will my kit arrive?

Borboleta Beauty processes orders Monday-Friday, excluding major US holidays. Orders will be processed within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Standard shipping ($8.00) takes up to 3-5 business days. Expedited shipping ($30.00) takes 1-2 business days. Standard International shipping (Canada-$15.00) (Outside Canada-$30.00-$40.00) takes 15 or more business days to arrive. Finally, expedited Canadian shipping ($30.00) can take up to 10 business days to be delivered.

How many models do I need to bring to the training?

You will need to provide one model on the model portion of your training. Your model is required for the full 4 hours.

How can I be added to the Borboleta Lash Artist Directory?

Our Lash Artist Directory is exclusive to artists who have been certified through Borboleta Beauty. If you have been certified through Borboleta, and are not listed on the directory, please contact client services (385) 489-4064 or email info@borboletabeauty.com

How can I integrate your training program into my cosmetology/esthetics school?

Are there any internet requirements needed to take the online training?

Please refer to this Zoom article in regard to system requirements.

How long should I wait before taking another course?

We encourage students to practice at their own pace and every student is different. Typically, we recommend 2-3 months of practice in between courses before advancing to the next course!
